RV Plumbing & Water Systems
in Austin

Pumps, leaks, tanks, toilets and winter freeze damage. A technician comes to wherever the rig is parked.

Water damage is slow, quiet and expensive, and most of it starts with something small: a weeping fitting, a pump that short-cycles, a tank sensor no one trusts any more.

What gets fixed on site

  • Water pumps that will not prime, run constantly, or cycle when nothing is open
  • PEX and fitting leaks, including behind panels
  • Fresh, grey and black tank problems, valves and stuck gate valves
  • Toilets — seals, flush valves, and units that will not hold water
  • Water heater plumbing, bypass valves and anode rods
  • City water inlets, regulators and check valves
  • Winterising and de-winterising

The Texas freeze problem

Most Central Texas winters do not require winterising, which is exactly why freeze damage is so common here — rigs sit unprotected because it usually does not matter, and then one hard freeze comes through and splits lines, pumps and low-point drains at once. If your RV went through a hard freeze un-winterised and has not been pressure-tested since, that is worth doing before you find out the hard way on a trip.

How a mobile bill worksAsk these two things first
PartWhat it is
Service callA flat fee for coming out to you, charged once per visit — whether the job takes ten minutes or three hours
LaborHourly after that, usually with a one-hour minimum. Diagnosis is often folded into the first hour rather than billed separately
PartsSeparate. Either supplied by the technician or by you — ask which, because it changes who warranties the part
ExtrasAfter-hours and weekend call-outs cost more. Mileage may apply past a set radius. A return trip to fit an ordered part may mean a second service call
Ask for the service call fee and the hourly rate, in that order, before anything else. Those two numbers drive most of your bill. Rates vary with the job, the distance and the time of day — you'll get the actual figures confirmed before any work starts.
